We at Orthodontists of Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota do not recommend using proxy brushes (proxy brushes) as part of your oral hygiene regimen. If you choose to use a proxy brush please follow our suggested instructions for use.
* If this brush is not used according to our suggested recommendations it can destroy gum tissue and cause irreversible damage!
- Brush should be used only in an Up and Down motion.
- Never force between teeth or into gum tissue.
- It should be used to gently remove plaque and debris from the tooth surface.
- Never use to remove debris from between teeth.
- Brushes do NOT substitute as floss.
