  1. band: For aligning back teeth
  2. bracket: For alignment of front teeth
  3. archwires: Runs through the brackets and bands to create alignment.
  4. hooks: Used to wear rubber bands and attach coils springs
  5. coil spring: used to close/open or maintain space
  6. headgear tube: for placement of headgear attachment
  7. loop on archwire: used to close space
  8. steel tie: used to engage archwire into the bracket
  9. rubber band: used to coordinate upper and lower occlusion or ‘bite’
  10. elastic tie: used to engage archwire into the bracket
