What Our Patients Are Doing
Congratulations Alisa!
Alisa Goldstein, age 10, just returned from Chicago were she competed at the Ice Skating Institue's World Recreational Team Championship. Skaters of all different age and skill levels came from the U.S., China, Taiwan and the Philippines.
There were 1595 competitions, the largest competition Alisa has ever skated in. Alisa skated in the production number with the adult team from the Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex. She also competed in the freestyle, compulsory, technical, interpretive, footwork, artistic and the character spotlight.
Amazingly she competed with a cast on her arm (which she did not break skating) and she earned one first, two second, one third, one fourth and one sixth place!
Alisa started taking lessons because she wanted to know how to skate if she was invited to a birthday party. She has grown to love skating and trains with a private coach as well as spending a great deal of time practicing on her own. Looks like the practice is paying off!

Congratulations Dana!
Congratulations Dana Brady for qualifying for the state track and field meet in May. Dana is a fourteen year old freshman at Lakewood Ranch High School, and as if making it to states as a freshman weren’t amazing enough, Dana has only been pole vaulting for one year!
Some of this incredible talent is likely passed down from her father, Thad, a competitive pole vaulter and coach. However, if you know Dana you can believe that her persistence, drive and positive attitude are also to be credited for her success.
Dana dreams of one day pole vaulting for the U.S. Olympic Team, and we bet she’ll be there! Way to go Dana!
Congratulations Paige!
Paige competed in the Martial Arts U.S. Open on July 6'th and 7'th. She was
amazing! She won two 3'rd places, two 5'th places, a 7'th place and two 8'th
places! There were over 5000 competitors from 37 different countries and our
Paige one 7 awards! Truly fantastic!
Congratulations Paige, keep it up!
